San Diego Velodrome  Fall 2008 Swap Meet

Sunday November 4th

The Biggest Bicycle Swap Meet in San Diego

 Come to the biggest swap meet in San Diego, with hundreds of sellers, and tens of thousands of bargains !

 Gates open 7:30am for Drive-in Sellers, 8:00am for Walk-in Sellers. Buyers admitted: 9:00am until 2:00pm .

Buyers $3 (Kids 7& under, free).

Seller  spaces are on a first-come first-served basis, no reservations taken except for  Prime Spots

 Walk-in sellers$15,  $10 each additional person – (max 4 persons total) up to 10’ * 10’  space no reservations taken- first come first served on the morning of the event

Drive in vehicles up to    16’    -  $75   inc 2 people  $10 each addit’l person – (max 4 persons total) up to 20’ * 20’   no reservations taken- first come first served on the morning of the event

Vehicles over   16’ (including any racks, hitches, hanging bikes etc)     -  $150  inc 2 people. 

$10 each additional person – (maximum 6 persons total)           up to 30’ * 30’ space

Vendors spaces are on a first-come first-served basis. Specific space shape/size/location is not guaranteed except for: 3 Prime spots,  on infield concrete Purchasing one of the spots allows you to use 1/3 of the infield concrete  -  $250 in advance (inc vehicle & seller as per 16’ +  specifications).  Email.  funmtbiker@yahoo.com  to reserve a spot or for more information.   Please put: Swap Meet in the subject line or your email may go straight to the spam folder   Do not ask to reserve or pay for a spot in advance  unless you intend to pay $250 for a prime spot.

RULES:

• Cash Only.    Exact change appreciated.
• No refunds for rain or any other reason.
• Vehicles over 25’, check in advance for access.
• Vehicle length includes everything  (imagine you’re putting it in a container that is 16’ long).
• No setting-up on the apron or any other concrete or asphalt sections. Grass only.
• No selling of items on the areas adjacent to the velodrome property.
• No selling of food or drink items intended for consumption during the swap meet.
• Observe other “access points” marked with tape.
• Please do not damage sprinkler heads, mostly marked with cones and flags.
• Free parking available in the lot accessed from Pershing Drive.  Please do not pass beyond the dirt lot unless you intend to pay for vehicle access to the velodrome. We do not have room for “drop-off” access.

• Take Pershing Drive through Florida Street intersection and continue uphill (Golf Course is on right side)
• Turn on to first driveway on left (If you hit Redwood street you've gone too far)
• Drive through paved lot and continue on to dirt road and dirt parking lot
• Velodrome is to the south of the dirt parking lot
